Summer School Prepper 2027 — Bucharest

An eight-day residential program that brings the depth of our adult Academy to a younger group — built for teens who want real skills, not a checklist. Runs 20–27 July 2027 in Bucharest. A first session runs 7–15 July in Craiova — see that session if the dates or city fit better.

What you'll do

  • Work through eight days on-site, building real skills in small supervised groups — no filler, no busywork
  • Build your own 72-hour kit and a personal first aid kit, and practice the basics that go with them
  • Take part in a full group scenario exercise near the end, with direct feedback from instructors

Curriculum

  • Day 1Arrival, orientation, and team formation
  • Day 2Foundations — thinking through risk, and a household emergency plan you can actually use
  • Day 3Water & food — filtration, storage, and cooking on basic camp gear
  • Day 4Shelter & navigation — building a shelter, map and compass basics
  • Day 5First aid — bleeding control, basic triage, and building your own first aid kit
  • Day 6Communication & teamwork — off-grid comms basics, group coordination exercises
  • Day 7Full group scenario exercise, run in small teams
  • Day 8Debrief, feedback, closing ceremony, and checkout

Structured days with adult instructors and supervisors on-site at all times — this isn't a drop-off-and-forget program. One day shorter than the Craiova session, with no dedicated rest day built in.

No-show policy: booking a spot means someone else can't. If you don't show up without cancelling in advance, your payment isn't refunded. Cancel at least 15 days before the event for a full refund — that gives organizers time to find someone else for your spot. Cancellations closer to the event, or no-shows, aren't refunded.

Who it's for

Teens aged 16 and up who want a serious, hands-on introduction to preparedness — whether they're completely new to it or already curious and want structured depth. This is the under-18 counterpart to our adult Prepper Academy, not a shortened version of it.

Eligibility: minimum age 16. Participants under 18 need written parent or guardian consent to attend — a consent form is sent to every registrant after booking, before the program starts.

What to bring

  • Comfortable clothes for hands-on work each day, and closed shoes for outdoor activities
  • Personal toiletries and any regular medication — on-site accommodation and meals for the full eight days are provided
  • Nothing else for the program itself — all materials and kit components are included

Led by

Taught and supervised by prepping.club's own instructor team, on-site for the full eight days. A completion certificate from prepping.club is issued at the closing ceremony — not a third-party accreditation, just proof of the work done.

Volunteers

We need extra hands running an eight-day residential program for teens — registration, meals, and supervision support alongside the instructor team. Prior experience with youth groups is a plus but not required; apply to volunteer.
