NIS2 doesn't put every covered organization in one bucket — sector and size generally sort businesses into "essential" or "important" entity categories, and the two aren't treated identically in terms of supervisory oversight and how proactively regulators can act. Don't assume that once you've confirmed NIS2 applies to you at all, the rest of the obligations are the same as everyone else's — the classification itself is worth pinning down specifically, not guessing at.
