Flu Season

Have a plan to isolate a sick household member, not just treat them

A shared bathroom, shared meals, and shared common spaces mean one sick household member often becomes the whole household within days. Decide in advance who sleeps where if someone falls sick, designate a separate bathroom if you have one, and have a plan for a dedicated set of dishes and a "sick person" set of towels — it won't guarantee nobody else catches it, but a deliberate isolation plan set up before anyone's actually sick works better than improvising one once they are.
