A screenshot of a bank transfer confirmation, a fabricated text thread, or an official-looking letterhead PDF takes minutes to put together convincingly — the same scrutiny you'd give a cloned voice or a deepfake video applies here too. If a document or screenshot is the only thing backing up an urgent claim (a wire already sent, a legal threat, an official notice), verify it independently through the actual institution rather than taking the image at face value.
